Broken Dreams Finding yourself

What is a broken dream ? One that we create in our mind our thoughts that never comes true.
Someone once asked me "What is your dream? Well i didn't know what to say, after all i was still trying to find myself.Although i had been single for three yrs ,but coming out of a violent relationship meant i had find me again.Why because when one leaves a violent relationship self esteem is very low, as the other person usually has lead you to believe your not worthy of anything.
So the question What is your dream ? I didn't have one as i was finding myself again ,constantly having less and less to do with the other person.So of course all i wanted was to not have to see the other person ever, and to be a good mum.But that is not a dream ,that is just a normal thing.

Anyway Someone the person who asked what was my dream, became a very good friend .
He helped me through soo much maybe things he isn't even aware of.Anyway time passed by and
that someone became my online bf , yeah crazy .But i built dreams around him ,in actually fact i built everything around his dreams tsk tsk. Then one day almost 3 yrs later the dream was gone , there was no longer the one day we will meet or one day we will be together. It was all gone just nothing ,no goodbye no nothing.
Anyway so now i find myself finding myself again , i use to be a one day at time person .I never liked to plan for anything because then i couldn't be disappointed if things didn't turn out the way i had planned.

Wow i have changed i now plan for so many different things , and it is good for me. I told my daughter on Monday ,that we cannot build your life around one person as i see her building her life totally around " Emilio". You must have friends in your life ,make new friends in Sydney because you need to have your own circle of friends .

Anyways the point i was trying to make before i got side tracked " blogging n chatting at same time. It's good to have a dream or to plan for some things in the future and at my age , i can plan these things for just me.I don't need to have a partner to feel complete , i just need to have family and friends.

Yeah i have a few plans and maybe i might not be achieve them ,but at least i have them.For sure nothing lasts forever , it's a misconception in some cases. But like you said we can include another person in life if the time is right .Yeah im babbling away tsk tsk.Thanks for sharing ya thoughts cheers

Yes life is a journey to be shared ,with the sun the moon the wind rain and friends as you stated come in aquaintances , some stay a short awhile some until thy last breath.
